Attaching bilge pump

With Rule now only making the 25DA, the old midshaft brackets don't work. How do folks attach their bilge pumps so they don't come off? Silicon/JB weld have both failed for me, because the strainer is plastic.

I saw the 25D on Amazon as well, but in contacting Xylem customer service, here's what I got:

The 25D is no longer manufactured the 25Da is the new replacement

So my guess is that people selling the 25D are selling it from their existing stock. Also may be why Amazon itself stopped selling the 25D (marketplace sellers only) and started selling the 25DA

Probably you are right. If you want a plug and play they are still available.

Last year I emailed xylem asking why they stopped making the 25S-6WC (500 gph auto cycle every 30 seconds) and they told me they still make them but they're typically special order. They actually sent me one on the house.

Thanks for all the feedback. Got a free warranty replacement 25DA for my 25D, going to try the 5200 route....

Use 5200 fast cure. It's thicker and doesn't take 7 days to cure. 24hours.
