Attaching a stand/runner to swim platform ?

has anyone come up with a good way to attach ski to a boats swim platform? Probably could be done with just two 2x4's. Wondering if there was anything better or developed. Thanks!

I too would like to hear/see what others have done. I have been trying to figure out a way to make this work since i bought my boat. I have been thinking about ideas of like the temp roof racks for kayaks ... kind of like this

That Look like it would work. I actually used then on my Bimini bars to put surf boards up top. In between Bars and canvas. It would be nice to pull the ski up from the side of the boat, as a one man job.

I put my ski sideways on back of my old tiga several times. Worked great for surf ballast also. I made the bunks out of 2x4s framed in and carpeted And just sat them on the platform. Strapped ski to the rope hooks on the outside of the back of the boat. Last time I did it I had the ass end of the ski on the side we surfed on . When surfing you are constantly turning. This forced water up the exhaust and swamped my engine. Broke the reeds when I hit start.
It can work fine just be careful not to do what I did.

we use a 2x4 frame i made that gets strapped to the platform. the advantage to the one used is that its wood slats so i can get a strap through it. then two guys can slide the ski onto it and throw a strap over everything.
