650/X-2 Areo-veil

I was going to do some carbon layups on the sides of my x2 for some strenght is this a top layer to give things a nice flat clean look I can't really figure out what it is.

Also how much strenght do you guys think one layer of 120gram CF weave adds a little bit, a lot, not much, wtf you even put it on there for!

And I am talking we layups directly to the SMC Hull with west systems. Sanded through all the emmron.

Aero-veil is scrim cloth, same stuff that cheap home A/C filters and drier sheets are made from. It helps hide fiber print. Strengthening an X2 for hard side landings is a lot of work and still difficult to achieve. Strengthening one for hard upright landings is much easier since they tend to crack in a couple of areas. Unless you are trying to hurt yourself, just inspect the hull often. It will tell you what it needs.
