Are you as careless as me? total loss

Since the brain was basically a loss anyway, I figured...Why not scrape the potting and see if the problem could be fixed without tearing evrything up. After quite a bit of digging, I determined that the culprit was a tiny voltage regulator which was naturally at the bottom of the brain. I did pop one wire which would be easily resoldered and purposely popped the LED wire since it didn't work but I don't think I can get to the voltage regulator connection without destroying something major.

If anyone is desperate to have the LED back, it's wide open right around that area though. Stupid potting compound! This thing could be working if it wasn't for all that crap.

The fuse isnt connected to both in that pic, Its on the positive wire but its size makes it appear to be on both. If you look its centered on the positive but the side contacts the negative so it looks like one when in fact its only on the positive. Should have been labeled on the diagram...
