I have been working on my subs and sometimes when I go down the eater hits my eye lids so hard I see red for a sec. is that going to destroy my vision? I don't know what else to do other than close my eyes harder.

I cant seem to keep my eyes closed under water. The water pushes them open. I have contacts and they stay in too :haha: I havent had any problems and I've been subbing all summer

if you keep that up it can cause serious retina problems, and eventually lead to blindness or eye problems. I sub'd a brand new wave runner high output (on accident) in 4-5 ft. breakers at about 30 mph. I couldnt see for a few seconds and scared the ******** out of myself. keep your head down
