Anyone using a Sato Engineering Steering Nozzle?

Is anyone using one of these? What's your review?
How does it compare to stock?

I am really trying to get a Skat Trak reduction nozzle to work with my mag pump. The taper is too steep for a stock steering nozzle to bolt up without a trim ring.
The SE Nozzle seems to bolt right up to the Skat reduction nozzle.
$200 is a steep price for a nozzle, so I am interested to hear from those who have or have had one.

I have one on my 07 but it came complete with the SE Reduction nozzle as well as the trim nozzle and ring. If you wanted I could pull it off this weekend and fit it up to a stock reduction nozzle and see how well it fits...It's going on my new build so I need to pull the trim off the 07 anyway.

Thanks for the offer, but I am not trying to get the stock reduction nozzle to work.
That's what I have on the pump right now, with the stock steering nozzle.
I want the Skat reduction nozzle on the pump.

Yes, that's the one.
The Skat-Trak reduction nozzle has a gradual taper instead of the sudden reduction of the stock nozzle. It also has no vanes.
The one I have is currently at 82.6mm diameter, whereas my stocker is at 84mm. I'd like to try the smaller diameter.

Couchhater use to have one. He liked it. Pricy

YES!!! I have Dons SE fixed trim nozzle, and absolutely in love it. I switch to a XFT carbon system for a few rides last year and went back to the SE. Wouldn't trade it for the world.. well maybe a 12V Mag in a 1 to 1 trade:naughty:

The ski rides slightly nose up, like a REV. JSS made a pivot location shim and i get wall to wall throw. I can send you a template if you like since its currently off for a build. Compared to the XFT it was just more fun in the lake goofing around, stabs, throws, monkey jumps, hood tricks... The 8* fixed up made more of a difference to me than the 30* pull trim.

i dont have a D cut plate but i've been told it ride like a ski with one
