Other Anyone used U ship befor?

I seen this first on the new TV show Shipping Wars so i thought i would try it. I needed my Q8 shipped so i listed it on Uship.com with a picture of the crate and all the specs needed by the bidders. I ended up getting a lowest bid of $245 with all fees included and it will be at my door in 4 days. It is being picked up today from EME. Has anyone else went this way about shipping skis??

I'm pretty sure that's how mine was shipped when I sold it last year. The guy showed up with his pickup truck, took it to southern Kentucky where he lives, loaded it on his flatbed and headed toward Charleston, SC. He met another driver at I-95 and transferred it to him who took it up to the northeast to the guy who bought it. I think it was 3-4 days max.

I would consider paying $245 just for the cowgirl to show up at my door. Forget about the ski

I've used to ship from Fl to Va before. Deal was cheap and easy, guy brought it right to me on the back of his flat bed.

I've shipped two skis via uship and had a good experience both times. The transporters were prompt and reasonable with pricing. I shipped one from Georgia to NY and another to NJ from GA. Never paid more than about 150-175 to ship a complete hull.

I have used them several times with no issues. I always list it as enclosed transport under the motorcycle section. The guys always show up with a nice enclosed trailer and wrap it in blankets and strap it to the floor.

just used uship to get my ski from NC to MA last month had a great shipper, took 3 days have his contact info if you want to contact him outside of uship to save $$ on some fees PM me

Is there some sort of insurance or liability with this or is it all bets off once they leave your driveway?

Roy delivered my model A to me but the footage did not make the show this year. The producers said they would prolly use it if they do another season. And yes, Roy is actually a dick. Thats not just a put on for the camera.

The whole bidding thing they doon the show is completely bogus tho.

Have used a shipper from uship. Crazydave had shipped a hull from FL to NJ and i just used the same guy directly. Was the same FL to NJ trip. LOVE that guy (200 bucks to my door cash)!!! And yup mine was wrapped in a blanket too!

The way mine worked is I pay to a Ship account and when the crate gets here and its all good Ship will pay the shipper
