Super Jet anyone out there want to mod my cdi?

I have a factory pipe on my otherwise stock 701 and sometimes itll bounce off of the rev limiter. just out of curiosity is there anyone on this forum thatll put an adjustable revlimiter on my cdi for like $50? i really cant justify spending $120 to have protec or riva do it...

i would send the stock one into protec or riva because there is no ignition more reliable than the stock one. imo, alls your doing is adjusting the rev limiter so why not send it in for 110-120 and have it done for that purpose. whats the more gain with msd gunna give you anyways ,(you can have the feeling that your cool with msd but thats it) your not some pro rider racing or doing tricks for money anyways. so save some money and buy some other mods ! just my thoughts im sure some "msd" loving folks will wack on me for this one.

That comment makes me assume you keep your ski stock.... When did someone have to be a pro to want an above average performing ski? I think its a fair estimation that most of the people on this forum have the unfortunate habit of yearning for more power, and not expecting money for it. You seem the odd man out.

anyone who rides regularly knows that stock ski's lack the capabilities of a comfortable ride. my ski has all the basic mods intake grate, ride plate, bars , turn plate, prop, exhaust, on and on you get the idea. all im saying is he sounds like a recreational rider and it would make more sense to use the more dependable stock cdi and mod that instead of spending the 240-300 on a msd.
