im not sure if hell ship out or not but try personal watercraft repair in grandville mi (616)-534-1244 owners names isjerry he sells them for like 15 bucks a piece or you can just make your own..i usually just use a small strip of 1/8 or 1/4 inch plate scor it in two equal places bend over to 90 degree angles weld bends for strength clamp it in a vice and drill a 3/4 inch hole straight through the i dip the whole thing in plasti dip a few times.. drill one or two holes in the back and bolt on only takes about 30 min. or so to build... a bit longer to plasti dip.plus if you make your own you can make it just small enough so you can use a reciever lock on it on ski goes nowhere.....another good idea for pins are the pins that go in the bottom of older snow plows they fit perfect are like 6 inches long and have a little handle on them....

my last trailer was like that i just made it about an inch taller than the top and the bottom and never had any problems at all with the back stapped down nice and tight it never even bounced up and hit it...and im in michigan so weve got some potholes for sure...thats why i plasti dip them anyway just in case about 3 to 4 coats on them and it kinda makes like a rubber cushion
could always epoxy some rubber to them i think id go to a paint supplier and buy a couple of those flat sanding pads there like 99 cents a piece nice and cushy but not too cushy and about a half inch thick if your really worried about it

Stoltz is who used to make the urethane ones like I have. They don't make them anymore but they do make one made to go on a winch that could be bolted on I'm sure.

DUDE.

go here and get them, straight from STOLTZ.

I talked to Carl Stoltz when I called , ( the owner) he was cool, got me a discount for 2 of them ( cheap as heck) and shipped them out FAST.

I think its PWC-6 ( the one that is shaped like a sideways U, the pin goes thru...)

call and ask, they didnt list on the website a couple of years ago, and they still dont.

I need two of these as well...or maybe not, I am unsure of how the best way to hold the ski to the trailer other than straps.

I got a flatbed trailer that I am using now, but am going to put bunks on it (2x4 bolted down to the bed) I was thinking about these, but I might just do the metal hook kinda thing that was said above, with a pin. I figure if I make it deep enough it only thing holding the ski in place will be the pin, not the C itself...

PWC5a is my model I think, made to go on with u-bolts but I cut off the u-bolt tabs and bolted them on in the middle.

I, too, am in need of a set of these.

Parker Yamaha doesn't carry them anymore - I tried to order two of them a few weeks ago.

I called Stoltz and the guy on the phone was less than helpful (but nice). He didn't understand what I needed and the more I tried to explain, the more he didn't understand. He said just to use the strap on my winch (which I do, but was told these pin assemblies are better). Whatever - if it ain't broke, don't fix it. I guess I'll just keep using my strap.

You should try Stoltz again and tell them pwc5a is the part you need, or at least see if they still make it.

Thanks Jett - looks like if I order those, I'll need new mounts, too. I don't have an upright mount like you do - mine are angled for the winch and current bow stop.

Question - is it worth replacing the mounts and getting the C assembly with the pin or just continue using the strap? It seems like a big effort to make something work a little better.

Just for clarification and future reference, I just ordered two standup style bow stops from http://www.stoltzind.com/bowstops.html
The pwc-5a mounts with square U bolts that you supply
The pwc-6 requires holes to be drilled and you bolt it on directly.
They are not on the website but they are normally in stock.
I paid $12 each and customer service was excellent.

bingo! thanks for the info!

And after reading that, I remembered that I have the 5a but cut the top/bottom tabs off and bolted them on.
