Anyone have Blowsion kicker footholds?

Just curious because I bought a pair from someone locally. Assuming it was because he thought the installation was too tedious but who knows. They were sealed and had never been opened. on one of them to tow area is raised and tapers down so tight there's no way I could ever use them that way, especially with turf and shoes on. It's not a big deal, I could easily cut that small section out and glass it back but I'm wondering if it's possible these weren't really made by Blowsion? and I'm also curious about the quality of Blowsion's composite work because I'd like to get some tubbies for the same project but I'm unsure after this

Right hold has the taper to clear the exhaust tube, this is by design not a flaw. Unless you're riding in clown shoes I'd doubt your toes are anywhere near it once you've padded and turfed the holds.

Oh alright that makes sense. I knew the taper design had to be in the tooling but I thought it was odd. They're going in a 550 hull with a front exhaust so I guess I'll knock it out. I wear a size 12 1/2 shoe so I need as much space as I can get. Thanks for the information

nice holds but won't do you much good with a size 12.have size 9 and with padding and riding boots it was just the right fit

Yep, blowsion footholds run small. Grab some tom21 footholds if you can, they are huge and well made. I used them for years before i bought my new hull and i have size 13 feet.
