300/440/550 Anyone ever used this pipe?

The sad thing is the bidder has over 100 feedbacks! I would understand if it was a rookie eBay who had just gotten their first ski. But 113 bucks? God I should just start selling crack!


This kind of reminds me when I went and looked at my very first ski. I called my friend who had skis at the time and was like "It has an aftermarket pipe on it!" He said to me "They just look like aftermarket dirt bike pipes, it is just a stock jet ski one...." Here I was coming from the dirt bike world thinking that a stock Kawasaki 650 pipe was an aftermarket one. I am glad now I didn't but that piece of crap the guy was selling me! He didn't know any better either.

Man if you will look on that thread on pwc yesterday you will see where he bought that rusty ass pipe and then he repainted it and then tried to resell it as a watercraft pipe.Look on post #19

yeah but it still looks better than the stock exhaust, lol. it going in a 650 kawi so really whats it matter. also "tried to sell it as a watercraft pipe" looks like he did sell it. for a pretty penny too.

Well, to be honest I've done stupid moves like that before, bought things before I knew what they were because it sounded like a good deal... However, some lessons in life are harder and more costly than others...


But to me that pipe stands out as a do not buy... Look at the plumbing on it, its retarded!

i agree that it is a homemade contraption and would not pay that much for it but if i had a 650 kawi and had to make a choice of running the stock exhaust or this contraption wihich at least has an expansion chamber, then hell ya why not.

Why waste your time working on on making a dirt bike pipe into a jet ski pipe?

If I had the time/money/welding skillz..... I would turn a stock 650 Kawie pipe in a pry pipe!

All that needs done is to weld the two chambers together, coat the outside of them with soem kind of corrosion protection. Add a water fitting to the stinger. Then make a new pipe/jacket to go all around the chambers. Block off/weld up the hole inside the head pipe. A fitting would need welded near the head pipe on the chabber so you could fill the water jacket with water. Then you would need an exit fitting to push the water into the stinger fitting.

It really wouldn't be all that hard to do. But it would take some time and effort. Still though... dry pipes are usually top end pipes. Most people prefer low end pipes....

haha is that it? man that pipe is looking better and better. j/k, i don't know why someone would try a dirtbike pipe as a watercraft pipe but he did and despite all the regular trash talk from people when anyone trys anything new i think it was kinda neat, just don't pass it off as something that it is not. that is where the real problem is. i may email the buyer to see what kinda results it yielded.:biggthumpup:

I am going to mod a stock pipe one of these days but I got me a nice barely used FPP 650 pipe that is going int my X2.


I really need to start proof reading my threads, that last one was terrible. Must have been the beer!
