Anyone done the Network+ and/or the Linux+ certs?

I'm probably going to be taking the 2 tests soon. Probably within the next few weeks.

Anyone ever taken them? Care to share any thoughts?

The practice tests I've been taking are cake. But they're only a handful of the 80 questions.

The Comptia certs suck. Those 2 cost $460 each. So over $900 just so I can tell employers that I know how to do something. :doh: I've been doing this stuff for years. Shoulda gotten off my lazy butt and gotten them certs a long time ago.

I have never gotten mine either and probably will get out of computers before I do.

Going to take my network+ and security+ when fall term starts. Then its on to my MCSE, CCNA and CCNP. Hope it will be worth it.

I've taken a lot of the Microsoft tests for mcp, mcsa, mcse... tricky to say the least.
Anyone with previous computer knowledge would be confused, you are better off not knowing anything about computers, then taking the courses and exams.
