anyone cut bond line off?

its on a sxr so the bond line is a lil different than on a superjet! it has a lip under the bumper were the hulls connect?

how did it handle? slide out more?

i thought about doing it, to decrease the surface area when landing... but then you'd really have to reinforce the hell out of that area. Maybe doing it at the rear of the ski, to keep drag down if you are back flipping... but, i don't think i would do the entire bond line.

There is a picture on here someplace of the rear of Malone's practice ski. He cut the whole rear off of his SXR bottomed, Polaris topped boat. He said it was better for the tilt and BF's.
