I have shortened my freestyle superjet projects hull about 2 inches. How will this ride and how bad will it porpues??? lol Any body ridden one?

It's sweet!
One thing I would strongly suggest is moving everything else forward to compensate (footholds, bars-pole-bracket). That way, it still rides close to the same on flatwater.

The big advantage is the balance of the ski has now changed. The steering nozzle hangs out the back farther now (relatively) and the engine sits farther back in the hull. It spins backflips fast, but still spins rolls quick too. The one thing that takes some getting used to is how 'slippery' the back end is now. You're not going to carve any bouys with a short hull, but it's going to be a blast to ride!

My new build project is negative 2" as well but I haven't rode it. I did ride geeks in daytona and I'm more comforable with my decision to chop it.

I don't know if I'd do it to my primary ski since its not like im going to be pulling flatwater backflips with it anyways. But since i had a ski I was rebuilding anyways, I figured it would be fun to experiment with.
