PLEASE post some pics of your footholds so I can figure out how where I want to put them. Some say forward, some say back. REV's are going in, exhaust pipe is lowered, now I've got to decide where I want them.

Steering is stock with 0 degree UMI bars.

Where are yours and why?

I'm 6' with a -2 1/2" pole and a -1" turnplate. Footholds are all the way back. The pole still feels a little long.
Same setup here, I just mounted my revs 19.5 inches from the toe of the hold to the rear. Decided that after looking at my brother GASGAS's Kickers, they are way back.

I'm 6'2-6'4 depending on which bank I'm leaving and have a -4 pole with -3 steering.
i mounted my footholds a little far forward than I would like, it seems like I'm standing at the very back of the tray all the time with only my toes in the holds. (in flatwater)

Take a look at freestylegeek's squarenose conversion in the buildup section, he's 6'3" or so with a -5" pole I believe.

I'm 6'-1" and my pole is -4". My total pole/steering/bars/bracket set-up is -9.5 from stock. My footholds are 10" from the bulkhead. You can't get the footholds farther forward than 14" unless you move the exhaust tube.

2 quick questions: How much does the X-metal turn plate and straight bars take off in inches from stock RN SJ?
and does a lowered pole mount(Wamiltons) take off some too? Just trying to figure out what my total is from stock.

Sorry, dont mean to thread rob.

when i put my XMW turn plate and straight bars on it came out to something like (if i remember correctly):

turn plate (-1" from UMI std turn plate)
Straight bars (-1.5 from UMI 0 degree bars)

So if the lower mount is good for -1", then I'm at -5.5".
I am getting ready to cut off 2 more inches of my stocker pole.
Then I'll be a -7.5" and I think that will be perfect for me and I'm 6' 1" 210 lbs.
Some guys have long ape dragger arms and that makes a big difference on the pole length too.
