Any tips on installing X-Metal vent tubes in pole.

It's a biatch trying to get the breather tubes in the X-Metal pole...:banghead: Anyone have any tips on how to get them in?
What methods have peeps used?

I helped geek with his, we used pvc or something similar to roll across it to make it more oval than round, then tons of windex, and I think we even tied string or wire onto it to help pull it through.

What he^^^ said. A buddy with a blunt pry bar and windex works great for squeezing it through the bottom while you pull the cord. Make a big loop with the cord - don't tie it to the vents or it'll stay there forever.

Yeah, what Darrin said.

Flatten one end to get then into the pole. Windex is your friend.

I put the tubes in the pole then mount the pole. Put them through the hull last.

just used a rubber mallet to flatten out the tubes, lots of windex and just shoved them up in the pole.......... no string needed.
