Any tips of hooking up and unhooking cooling lines to pump fittings

There has to be a good way to hook cooling hoses to the pipe fittings. This is probably my least fav part of any jetski wrenching.

Anyone have some magical trick to help me? Once hooked up how are you securing them zip ties vs pipe clamps?

Use hose clamps.
A heat gun makes the hoses flexible and makes the job a piece of cake

Oetiker clamps for the hoses that are rarely removed. Regular ss hose clamps on the ones that are.

I use silicon hose because its flexible and easy to work with. Plus it makes tight bends without kinking. I also use full complement zip ties instead of hose clamps just because of the ease of installment. In this picture there is two cooling lines and the stock siphon all on one side. The line that wraps around is hooked up after the pump is installed. If you switched to silicon hose, you would never go back. Its just so easy to work with...
