Any tips for working with carbon fiber?

I bought a couple of 12"x12" prepreg (supposedly) cf panels on ebay ($13 shipped, not bad.) I've never really worked with carbon before. Can I just cut/dremel/drill it? I feel like it will want to splinter. I'd like to make a dash panel for my squarenose - strictly for bling purposes, of course.

I would appreciate any tips, warnings, etc. Thanks.

Don't know I always use glass much more flexible for the ski but if you are looking for bling carbon will look nice.

So why did I even respond to this post when I am no help at all? I don't know sorry.

I suppose they made the panels from prepreg.. Prepreg is cloth pre-impregnated with resin. You probably dont ever want that because it needs special equipment to process.
