any mods for stock dual carb flame arrestor?

the big bulky dual 44 flame arrestor...it looks like it would take in a lot of water through the one fatty hole that feeds both intakes.

anybody have any mods to keep air flow but minimize water intake????

it's actually much better than aftermarket flame arrestors as far as water intake goes. the aftermarkets can take in water from every angle, while the OE one only has that one hole. if you want to increase airflow, just remove all but one of the screens and you're good to go.

hmm...i was just thinking, this is one huge hole...

i was gonna drill some holes on the bottom sides as a drainage

That would not matter, you got to remember that inside the Box of the Flame Arrestor is a Vacuum, any water or objects that enter the FA is going to be sucked into the carbs..........
The OEM FA is the best out there.......... I wish I could run one on mine!

Drilling holes will not help, may even hurt more than help

drilling holes won't necessarily hurt if they're real small, but they're definately not gonna help any.
