Please help......
I have an SXi 750 with a cloged return port on the second carb (Front).

I have a stall problem and was chasing fuel flow to verify the pump was pumping enough.

1) No fuel in the return line to the tank while running.

2) removed return line from 1st carb (back) great flow to 2nd carb.

3) tried to suck fuel thru return fitting on 2nd carb. No go. Blocked.:17:

4) Removed carbs.

5) Removed diapham. looks good. can't find the Return port/bore to the return fitting.

6) Removed diapham on front carb, can suck air through the fitting.

7) It appears that the suction pull from under the needle seat.

8) I remove the spring and needle. But the seat does not screw out like a mikuni.

Q1 - Can I removed the seat on a Keihn carb?
Q2 - Do you know the port circuit in the carb well enough to tell where the return circuit is?

Maybe this will explain why I run out of fuel when a SJ I ride with has used a 1/2 tank. :headbang:

try getting a can of compressed air with the small tube and blowing back into the return line opening, you could also try some carb cleaner with the tube also............

I have carb cleaner floating in the fitting now... But blowing does not seem to work. I have a compressor but I'd hate to shot the seat across the room like a bullet or cause any internel circut problems.

I tried blowing out w/ the compressor. Think it may of got clogged worst.

I have discovered how the circuit is. It is a direct path under the seat. Fuel in and fuel out seem to be the same path and the seat is the tee in the path.

Blew smoke through the good carb and the return and feed both pass smoke up to the center of the needle.

Anyone know if the elbows (hose fittings) screw on??
