Interesting, I like it. A little pricey, I wonder if it can run dry and not burn up?

i would rather run another rule than drill through the boat. doing a scupper drain looks very scetchy. plus i leave the ski in the water sometimes.

Just went down and measured the amount of water in my hull... I bilged out the water, let the water trapped in the tube drain back into the hull, and measured the water level next to the bilge pump. It's hard to get a perfect reading but I'm getting between 0.3" (7.6mm) and 0.4" (10.2mm) with my 800gph Attwood.

I have 2 500s fitted to my Sn, bonded in under the coupler. i have them on a switch, the new field sensing 650 is now on the market but as the 500s i have seem to like to cavitate a bit i stuck with the manuals. I find i have to cycle the switch on/off sometimes till they bite. They fit beautifully tho.
