What’s wrong with it? Dale’s jet sports I’m in sasche. Krenn power sports in in ft worth. @Yami-Rider at advantage powersports is in Kingston Oklahoma. Only an hour north of Plano

Jyzmbe is pretty mechanically savvy, could probably point you in the right direction.
Being that old, could have all kinds of issues, most used skis do. Compression test with a good tester would be the first step. Needing starter fluid to start, is either low compression or fuel delivery issues. Everything can be fixed with enough time/money.

150 is perfect, but if it does have 140/140, it should run on its own, as long as carb(s) are happy, no engine air leaks, clean filters/lines.
You could have it on gone over by a professional shop, but that won't be cheap.

Do you guys know what the correct spark plug is for a 93 SJ? I thought it was NGK BR8HS. Has that part number changed?

If it has a stock head, that is the correct plug. Make sure you buy solid tip. The part# for that plug is: 6715.
