Any aftermrket head that doesnt use orings?

Im looking for a head for my 85mm Flat Top that uses a head gasket rather then orings. Ive had 3 Oringed heads on 3 differnt engines and so far everyone has leaked.

Ive never had a problem with a non oringed head.

Hmm I would have to say your surface is not flat.

ADA and Twist.

3 different motors, 3 different heads. 2 were brand new motors, brand new heads.

a paper head gasket is unbeatable.

ocean pro make a gasket head, i've got one, it's warped, would have to resurface it

You should be able to salvage what you have by lapping the cyl and head. A modified stock head with a 760 gasket is very good if you can do without a girdle.

pro tec 760 head uses a gasket and yields 175 psi w/ rec head...there's a few around used....
