Another stiff stock handle pole thread

I searched around but figured wth I'll start a new thread.

I'm building a stocker and want to keep it relatively cheap. I plan to chop my stock pole, reinforce the pole mount area, and want to make it stiff like the dual-bolt XMW setup. I have had bad luck with breaking stock mounts and concerned the XMW mount would make the pole so low it'd bind against the stock hood.

What's everyone doing to achieve a stiff stock handlepole? One that takes some muscle to move and won't break something on the first thrashing.

I believe the xmw lowered bracket will clear the stock hood. I ran a similar bracket that cleared stock hood but mine was 24/7 I believe but they look real close.

you need a set up the alum dog bone spacers to get the stock pole stiff. otherwise you could break the lower castings by tightening them up to much.

BK do you have a link or any more info on the alum dog bone spacers?

Anyone else got any thoughts on how well an XMW or other brackets would fit with a stock hood?

You use to could get them from Wamiltons. XScream may have some also.
