Another problem. No spark

I probably should have never sold my sxr. this damn thing has given me nothing but problems, after every ride something goes wrong.

anyways enough of venting. I have no spark. ZERO, not even a little flick. Funny thing is last night at about 8:00 i started it on the first button push. Before it was the killswitch, I just disconnected it and she worked. This time that aint working. Im really out of ideas of what to do, i guess i could try some new spark plugs\boots. Im about to just replace the whole Ebox. I just dont get how something could go wrong from 8:00 last night to 10:00 this morning.

any ideas?

check the plug boots, and then pop open the Ebox and make sure nothing came loose. I just had the same problem with my ski and come to find out the Advent CDI took a dump.

Did you unplug the killswitch/tether harness plug down by the engine? superjets are known for corrosion in the tether switch causing a problem, it will work one minute and not the next. Both of mine do this once or twice a season, usually after they sit waiting for the next ride. Bypassing the switch by unplugging it will allow it to start but not shut down, if so take the switch apart, clean the corrosion and soak it in wd-40 or something similar....not dielectric grease! too much resistane and the switch wont move in the thick grease!
hope this helps, cheers!

Yay!!! intermittent spark is oh so fun! I pulled apart the stop start switch nad pulled everything apart even little springs and things and cleaned it and put it back together, and it worked.. Try that!

i got her working by taking apart the killswitch and cleaning and new plugs\wires\boots.

but now i got another problem, just randomly today coming home from a friends house something went wrong with my throttle cable, like in a split second the cable just went loose and my throttle was stuck wide open. I thought to myself this could be really fun or really scary. luckily my dad was beside me and we popped her on the swim platform and rode home.
any ideas on the throttle cable?
