Ok fellas I need some help for a friend of mine.
He has a polaris octane with a fresh built 701 61x.
Motor has light porting, and a B-Pipe with dual cooling.
He has a 44 SBN single carb and needs a rough idea as to where to start with jetting. At this time he has 120/115 jetting currently in the carb, but it was on a 650 without the B-Pipe before he built the 701.
is anyone familiar with this set up? Pros/ Cons of this single carb?
Where should he be starting with the jetting? He is mechanically inclined, he just needs to know where ti start without buying a ton of jets.
Any insight is appreciated.
