Another impeller question

im sure there have been multiple threads on this. i have been searching for theads, but havent found the exact answer to my question. i have puchased a totally oem stock 701 sn (thanx jlehocky ). i believe it comes with a 14/19 al or a 13/16 impeller. i would like to replace it with a better one, but i am not sure what pitch i should get. i mainly chase cruisers on the river, but i also run some bouys and have been experimenting in the surf a bit, so my question is, for my style riding what pitch impeller should i get?

It is a good prop that will still work good if you add a pipe. My first prop was a solas 13.5 - 18.7 that I ran on the same basic setup you have and it did good.
