im guessing bigbore 61x sleeves.

I am curious to see. With Kawi pistons, bigbore 61X sleeves would be a little dangerous :skull2: due to the ring pin location on KAWI pistons. This doesnt mean it cant and hasnt been done.
Toby and I just built one w/ 82mm flattop KAWI pistons in 61X sleeves. This is the reason for my interest in some feedback on that set up as we have yet to run this motor.

Are you sure they are KAWI pistons and not R&D pistons? The part# they show there for that kit are R&D pistons right?
Not trying to be nosey, I am running the RIVA (Tim Judge ported) Dominator sleeves w/ R&D pistons. It hits awesome and I was wanting to try another set up that KAWI pistons will work in due to the pricing of replacement R&D pistons and the pace that they wear.

I am 100% sure they are Kawi flat top pistons, where the sleeves are from I honestly do not know....:dunno:

Hey, when Chris bought his blue boat from Tera, it had a Lamey PV with Kawi Flat top pistons, no problems.

I know Steve used this cylinder for a year with no problems, so I'm not too worried about snagging rings.

Besides, it came with a 5 year no-fault WF gaurantee... Right Steve?

:haha: :haha: :haha:

those sleeve where already installed when I got the cylinder. I've been using the kawi flat tops in all my motors without any problems. I know Paul (LPW) also uses them without any problems. You just have to modify them a bit to work in the yamaha cylinders. Before this cylider, I use to use northwest SS 785 big bore sleeves . they were very similar to the R&D. Other use Lamey sleeves.

I finished turfing the tray and footholds last night and am 95% happy with the job, although it would probably give Charlie a run for his trophy.:Banane01:

I will get a photo inside the foothold with the bottom mat down later, it came out pretty sano.

Now all I have to do is turf the pole pad and the two rear corners, and this little ski is ready to get the engine and pump put in.:cheer:
