Can you elaborate on that?
Are you talking about resealing the pump seal with goop or just using goop around the intake shoe area.
I did an FX1 144 mod with a bored out 122 shoe and it cavitates like a bastard.

I had the same issue found that if I ran a bead of silicone with my finger around where the shoe and the pump mate it solved my cavitation problems.

I have since upgraded to a 144 pump shoe and did not have to silicone anything and no cavitation.

What WaveChaser said, when you look at the ski with just the wear ring section in you will see the "ledge" behind the pump shoe. I used silicone to bevel that edge and it seems to work well, still sounds like its cavitating a little but you cannot feel it.

silicone every area...both side of everything....and if its a mod like urs.....it will need it more then most.....most times
