SX/SXi/SXi Pro Another Carb Question! 750 small pin

I picked up a small pin 750 for my 650sx hull(haters gunna hate). I know there are a ton of carb threads but ive been doing a lot of research and my questions have yet to be answered.

750 SP
160psi
9/17 cutback swirl
Westcoast 650 pipe

My question is which carb to run?! Im running a Mik44 115 low 145 high 2.0 n/s on the 650 engine right now. Can I run this on the 750 rejetted or not? or should I go to a Mik46? Im not looking to milk 0.8mph out of the ski.
Ive heard good arguments about both but im leaning towards the Mik44 for throttle response.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

Stay with the 44. I did the same swap in my X2 and the only thing I had to change was the intake manifold. I didn't even have to re-jet.

Also, can I use a 12 pin R&D intake manifold on the 10pin case?

Yes, the manifold will fit. I would use the 44 if you do any long full throttle runs since single carb 750s have relatively low vacuum signal. Your current jetting will run but is on the lean side. Get a 120 and 125 pilot and use the one that makes it sputter some around 1/4 throttle. Open the top screw 3 turns and slowly lean to strongest acceleration. If the screw ends up over 2 turns out then up the main jet to 160 and repeat the process. Set the bottom screw at idle well rich of peak on the trailer.
