Yep its getting tubbies, we are going to try shaping some out of foam. I think the hull is around 60lbs? Then I would think at least 20lbs in material added to it by the time its done

Set the motor and pipe in to see how much room there is, we are thinking about making a battery tray in the corner by the bulkhead

Craig (CTKawa) just placed what we hope to be the final order of materials to finish his hull aside from paint and turf. Next on the list is to power-wash the engine bay (should have did this first), re-foam the tray and then finish the glassing/body work.

The peel ply goes over the fiberglass. I was pretty surprised with how well it works, it leaves the surface a lot smoother. You put it down after your lay-up and then pull it off after the resin is dry.

Mine broke there too. I just got done adding a layer of carbon to the inside edge of the hood seal lip before I bought into molds to start producing a brand new hull. Anybody interested in a fully reinforced 300?

Lol thats what it was, we were searching for a cost effective filler to smooth out the foam since anything polyester based would eat it away. This is a first working with these materials so there is a bit of a learning curve. I eventually peeled it all off for epoxy based fillers, see post #61. Aren't you bugging me about this over on pwc also? Thanks for being so helpful.

That had nothing to do with me not posting over there anymore, I gave up and come over here after it was getting hacked everyday..either way we'll stick to epoxy based products..
