The basic call this week is we have a jet ski , it hasn't run since:

A . last year,
B , in several years
C . in about 12 years
D . I don't know when the last time it was running was , the guy I bouth it from said it just needed a battery
,
We have family coming up, can you get it by the weekend.

And the answers were as follows ;

A . Not no but hell to naw naw naw
,
B ,I stopped taking in stuff two weeks ago till after Memorial day

C. Do you have some kind of special calendar that doesn't have holidays on it , because last time I looked at mine Memorial day was on there, , it 's about the same time every year and you sir are either a complete dumbass or a special kind of stupid !

D . If you bought non running junk , that's on you , if it sat all Winter and now you want it running , that's on you also , I have been here all Winter, where were you ?

I like how I am expected to pull off a miraculous jet ski revival in a couple of days , even Jesus was only recorded as walking on the water one , he didn't make a habit of it and I ain't Jesus .

My phone is now on do not disturb mode and right now I am so sick of this childish , BS, nonsense that I can't adequately express it with words , dank a$$ memes or multiple exclamation points.

What I am going to do and this is from now on till infinity and beyond is start taking holidays like everyone else has all these years and whatever bs you have going on because you didn't get off your lazy asses and plan ahead will no longer will affect me.

LOL!! Terry, you crack me up. I think we all get the exact same BS at every holiday. Since I'm coming over your way for the big car show at Talladega Speedway, I'm shutting down all next week! I stopped in the middle of what I was doing today to pull debris and fishing line out of a Seadoo for a couple on vacation. They were nice folks and even gave me a tip. The lakes here get stupid busy during the holidays anyway so me and the wife work and try to get as many going as we can. Then the next weekend we take off and don't answer the phone.

I stay far, far away from any body of water during a holiday , If I absolutely have to go I go to my brothers place on the Alabama river near Holy Ground Battlefield park and Jones Bluff , usually there are not too many idiots down that far.

LMK when you are coming through I would love to meet you in person.

If you hear through the grapevine that I closed my shop and retired one day you will know exactly why, I will have had enough with dealing with idiots.

I can guarantee you one thing , I will be taking a three day weekend like everyone else this weekend and most likely I will take off the entire week of Fourth of July , as on of my exes used to say F' em and feed em fishheads.

Actually, looks like we will be about 2.5 hours North of you. I'll be driving all day Wednesday to arrive in Lincoln late afternoon. The big show is Thurday, Friday, and Saturday at the Talladega racetrack. We were invited by the show promoter to show my wife's truck on 'Miniruckin' row, sponsored by Minitruckin' magazine. I believe we will be showing on PIT ROAD!! Another local guy also was invited to show his mini. This is combined with the OBS nationals. Looks like about 2000 show vehicles are registered for the event.

S10 with a souped up small block in it right ?
YEP! This '89 S-10 was built by a friend of ours in high school and was finished in '94........that's right a high school kid did this to a 4 YEAR OLD TRUCK! He owned it for 16 years and now we've owned for 16 years as well. It was V8 swapped from the start and was pretty much parted out when we bought it, then me and my wife put it back together. Engine is a 300hp 4 bolt main 350 with a Holley carb and Hooker Competition headers. Trans is a full B&M TH350 built by me, transferring tire roasting power to the 4:10 geared rear end (original to the 4cyl 5sp truck). It's lowered the old school way with dropped spindles, springs, and blocks. The truck rolls on old school 17" billet Centerlines that were discontinued WAAY back in '99. The interior has custom dyed carpet and a custom Chevy bowtie in the headliner, and the seat is the original bench frame that I modified with a center console and different backrest foam. There's also a SUN tach and a B&M slapshifter to help with sideways antics! Hey......1994 called,.....they want their minitruck back!!!

I also have an old school S-10 Blazer with a V8 swap. I've owned this one for 24 years and daily drove it for 16!

My nephew just sold his small block powered S10 a few months back, he really didn't need it anyway as he is far from being any kind of mechanic.

A long time buddy of mine and I put together a 350 LUV truck that ran 11s in the early 90s, funny to think that ol girl layed down 500HP to the rear wheels. Nowadays 500HP would get you comfortable last place anywhere you went.

The only thing missing on that truck to be period correct is a pass through sub box in the bed with like 4 PPI flat cone 12" subwoofers. Sick truck.
