Items it could be!

Seal the pump shoe!
Bad wear ring!
Worn prop!
Wrong Prop!
Also the shaft tube could be leaking! (Which could also be the water in the tray problem)

So what was the problem?

Mostly from Josh's list!

1. Aluminum pump shoe inner diameter smaller than pump intake and not concentric. I could have ground it to size, but was afraid to screw up other parts because it has to be done in the ski so ya know when to stop. Plus I lack the proper tools.
Remedy: Bought a new stock shoe.

2. New impellor far too small on O.D. Needs to go to impros.
3. (Maybe) Bored nozzle/impellor combo a "bit much".
4. Pump alignment. Resin had dripped thru when I repaired a pump mount insert, acting as a shim. A chisel popped it right outta there.

Most of it due to my own lack of attention to details.

Pump shoe was cracked. Replaced it. Looks like maybe the screws were too long and might have done the cracking.
