Alright Blaster guru's, what the H are these?

I've got a couple of brackets in my 95 blaster's engine compartment that seem to do nothing. They were loose and rattling so I went to snug them up and I was like waaaaaiiiiiit a minute here... I checked the manual quick and didn't find them shown anywhere so maybe they're aftermarket? But for what??

So can anyone tell me what these are and why I shouldn't throw them in the circular file? Or better yet, how much they're worth, lol.

For the oil injection tank. Someone converted your ski to pre-mix.

You can remove the bracket but you will need drill out and fill in the (2) 3/16" holes under the rubber hood seal.

Ah yes. Well, I'll take the idiot of the month award for not realizing 1+1=2 and you can 'win' the blaster guru of the month award for cluing my dumb azz in. Be forewarned, wining that title next month might be a weee bit tougher.
