Almost done

Almost done with my creation for the Daytona trip. I think i have succesfully converted a single couch trailer into a tri stand up trailer!! It may look ghetto, but it will work! I'll post pics when i get fully completed with it!

I gotta get a camera! The thing is i have no welding experience, and no access to a welder so i'm converting it out of wood!

I know your pain I just got finished converting a two ski to a four ski trailer . I put new wheels ,tire,bearings, fenders ,bunks ,carpet and re-enforced the frame. I thought it would take me about 1 day it took two weekend and I had two welders going . Its better safe than sorry since my round trip too and from Daytona is 2600 mile . O and a sweet rattle can paint job.

theres a guy that shows up at our local boat ramp with a funny looking set up. he took two single trailers and put them together with u bolts. its funny looking but safe.

Actually, the trailer does have custom paint! HAHA! Guy i bought it from owned a body shop so there is some pretty neat paint on it. I fitte the skis on it tonight and it fits wonderful! All i have is a crappy cell phone picture. I gotta make a bow stop boardto mount the rubbery U bow stops that should be here tomorrow. Then, take off all the wood stuff, spray bomb it black, and carpet the bunks, then its just the waiting game til the freeride! here is my pic... Tell me what you think! All done with about $60 worth of supplies! :swordfight:

Its like one of the biggest sit down trailers i have seen... so i think i'll be fine, i'm gonna tow it to work and around town one day to make sure everything pulls alright.

how far you traveling with that? my only concern would be the tires. Other than that it looks nice.

Not gonna push much more on the weight, but the tounge is huge, the whole trailer was a big couch tote. I am still like 300 lbs away from the max load on the tires, needless to say, i'm bring two spares.

bring extra bearings just in case. bounce on the axil to make sure its no rusted thru.

an extra tire and axel hub is a must. what is the axel rated for?

Yeah... our garage is slammed packed. Cars, motorcycles, skis, alot of shiat. All has its purpose though!! Not sure what the axle is rated for, any place on it where it says?
