Super Jet aligning my steering cable/nozzle

i installed a tom21 hood with a umi. When i turn left it hits the stops on the umi before the nozzle hits the pump, but when i turn right the back of the nozzle hits the pump. Is this a cable issue? i attempted adjusting it but no matter what i did i still had the same problem. Do you guys grind down the backs of your nozzle to get full extension on right turns?

same thing I told you...if the cable has 4inches of travel and just for giggles lets say you have the adjusters set so the cable can only move 1 in one direction then it has 3 in the other. center the cable first. remove it from the nozzle and bars. pull it one way, measure the extended amount, push it the other way. measure and subtract that from first. divide answer by 2 and that is the amount needed to center the cable. now reinstall adj so that the cable can be centered.
