I have a 92 superjet that is being really impossible to get running right.
Previous owner has a big k&n cone style filter on the intake, but it has stock jetting, 120hi 115low, from what I've been reading, these k&n are nowhere near as restrictive as stock so jetting changes need to be made. Could this be my issue?
(bogs down at anything above 30% throttle)
Carb rebuilt, all new fuel lines, check valve, compression good, leak down test on motor and it's air tight, fuel pump working properly. New fuel filter full of clean fuel
This thing has never run 100% since I've owned it.
Electrical box is completely refurbished, clean, proper. It actually seemed like it ran amazing the first 5 Min's after rebuild but it's been poop ever since. I'm really thinking it has something to do with this k&n though.
Initially at 32psi pop off but just dropped it tonight to 24psi and gonna take it for a ride in the morning.
