unless someone else hurrys up and finishes some prototypes:drive:
if you can get in line at 24/7 I *think* he'll make one. I'll try to get mine done soon now that my ski is good to go again.

As far as Japanese X2 hulls, There are two or three people making them. I believe the ones at Shin Racing are acyually made by Maekawa Engineeirng. Look Here:

http://64.233.179.104/translate_c?h....ocn.ne.jp/~meng/x-2.htm&prev=/language_tools

They have changed their site around so it is a little more dificult to find.

There is another place making the hulls too but I have the link saved on my home PC. Rotation got the newer style X2 hulls from the Jet Wave Exporter. He said they were made by SE or Sato Engineering. I am not too sure if they make an aftermarket hull for the older X2s.

615 Freeriders are addicted to T1 madness.
Sxr bottom and power, different top deck. They don't sell em here, something to do with the fact they don't have off throttle steering I believe.

Too many 2-strokes to 4-strokes ratio in US is what I heard:dunno:

Do a search, there are people in US importing them I believe.

If onlyI could find a hull locally, I would love to be the first to make an aftermarket x2 hull here in the states.

Rotation,

How much was shipping your hull from SE? I am tempted to buy an aftermarket original style X2 hull from Japan but it already will cost 4k for the hull. Then the shipping, customs fees, and dollar to yen ratio will tack on much more. Makes it not worh it. However if you look at how much a typical aftermarket SJ hull costs it is comparable. Plus it is lightweight, stronger, sealed up, and already has rear exhaust & a scupper. Saves weight right there from the renforcing and leaking.

24/7 is still making the conversion superjet hoods.

Call Mark at the shop 732-505-8115

I have seen one in the shop and they look pretty sweet!

They are building a new website it should be up in a few weeks.

Chad.

I hear they are making them still then I hear they aren't. I have 24/7 's old website, I have the SJ conversion hood site, but what is Full Throttle's web site? I though they had one.

I spoke with the Kawi rep for Quebec on a french forum and he told me that they had Canada in there mind for 08 for the X2 but they could not get the emission regulations passed. They are now aiming at 2009:mad:

There will be no 08 and forward X2s, and they will never be sold in Canada. Kawasaki has discontinued the new X2 after only 3 model years, 05. 06 and 07. Only 1500 total were built (500 per year) and after very disappointing worldwide sales they dropped them fom the lineup. There are just a few left in Japanese, French and New Zealand stock. Too bad, for it was a superb boat. If you ever wanted one, now is your last chance, except of course the aftermarket lightweight hulls. But who has 10000+ for a hull thats good for nothing except freestyle, and then you need EVERYTHING to finish it. All of those A/M hulls are also set up for a different pump than the stock X2/SXR 800 pump, and the hull is shortened as well.
