Other Aftermarket Nosepiece... how did you mount it? (NO SCREWS!)

I'm looking at my aftermarket nosepiece, and can't figure out how to mount this thing without screwing it in... I searched the forum, and found a few people saying "just screw it in", and a few saying they made something underneath the nosepiece, but I don't know what they made, and there are no pictures floating around out there... so, how did you mount it? What did you fabricate, or make and attach under the nosepiece to mount it and keep it looking nice?

l've never done one before, but it seems you would want to screw it down from the bottom side. How much space is (there where your arrow is) between where the mark is and the ski.Does it rest flush against the ski?

It utilizes the stock nosepiece holder and rear screws. Works like a charm, has been sub and bail tested plenty!

Mine is like sospikey, bolts on a plate epoxied to the nose piece. Lined up with the OEM holes and nutted from the inside of the hull.

I modified mine kind of like this too. I epoxied a plate with 2 bolts in it to the bottom and used nuts under the top of the ski, utilizing the stock nose bracket holes.

Normally people screw right through the nose piece though.

I hate screws in a nice clean nose piece so I first tried bending aluminum to fit over the oem holder. prob is it broke a lot of the time. so now I epoxy a piece with bolts in it that stick down. and you can just install the nuts from inside and the oem screws. secret is out now.

Mine has held up well, tom21. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the nose piece the first time, sooooo much cleaner look! Great idea, sorry if I disclosed any trade secrets....

so you basically glued the OEM nosepiece holder to the aftermarket nosepiece, and used the oem nuts to hold it down?
