Adjustable rev limiter on stock CDI by Pro-Tec?

I've got an old CDI that has an adjustable rev limiter on it installed by Pro-Tec. Anyone got any ideas how it adjust the rev limiter or how to contact Pro-Tec?

Does anyone run one of these? Are they any good or should I look for something different? CDI is on a 61x with a Coffman's sizzler exhaust.
