Super Jet Ada head?

Is it worth it to put a ada girdled head on my ski if I don't have a pipe yet or are they a kinda thing you need to do at the same time?

Forgot to say ski is all stock except for I got a hooker 9/15 impeller.

raising the compression will improve your performance in conjunction with other components

Go for an ada head o ring heads seal way better.

I've heard some people say that the o ring heads can give you trouble sometimes. Have you had that happen at all?

There only trouble if not installed properly or the head or cylinder has some warp in it. A new head put on right won't give you any trouble

It depends on how you ride, I believe the point of the girdled head was to keep your cylinders from cracking due to brutal surf riding and such. If your just doing normal rec riding you can pic up a non girdled head for sometimes less than half price. Ive bought them before, but wont be on my next ski. The main reason I bought them was b/c they look bada$$, but im over that. They are nice though and worth the cash if you do need one.

I have had problems with non o ring heads that have been milled, o ring heads seal much better. Just make sure your o rings are in good shape.
