ADA Head and stock filter

I just put a girdled ada head on my ski and found the air cleaner wouldnt fit- stock 38 one peice filter. Is there a spacer or something i can get.. or should i just start choping and hope for the best

I used a dremmel on mine and cut a notch for the center girdle bolt cap. It just takes some patience to take some off, check fitting, take some more off, check fitting again. You get the point.:biggrin:

If you take the time to do it right it will great and pretty much look like it was always that way.:biggthumpup:

I did the same thing and it works nice .I think X metal makes a spacer if you want to go that route :cool2:

That would definitely be the nicest looking route to take, but a little time spent with the dremmel is free.:biggthumpup:

i guess i wil dremel away,ive spent enough on shiny parts the last month

The guys are right, if you take your time with the dremel it comes up fine, that's all I did with mine.

Make a plate that will move your flame arrestor away from the head then you don’t have to cut it up.
