6 small meals a day. I do smoothies a lot in the morning....or one for dinner here and there and they actually keep me full since you get to eat a snack in a few hours anyways. They have a pumpkin one that is delicious.

It isn't anything fancy really...just eating healthy 6 times a day. It has been super easy to stick to since it isn't full of gimmicks. PLUS....they encourage one cheat meal a week so you don't get burned out.....I tore up some wings and fries the other day for lunch so I got it out of my system. I had ONE beer last night.....and that is all I have had all week.

I can already tell a HUGE difference.....I mean I don't know about you but I don't get to do a happy dance in the dressing room a lot :woot: haha

Nuts, dairy products, oils, peanut butter are calories. Most aerobic threshold athletes include some of these items in their diet because of how many calories they burn daily. Also good for gaining muscle mass. I would not recommend the items I quoted for losing weight.

It really doesn't matter what anyone eats (to an extent). The best way to lose weight is just to burn more calories then you consume. Never met an aerobic athlete, at least that was dealing with threshold that was anything other then thin.

Eating right means eating natural foods. Anything in the box has salts, fats, and sugars that make up the preservatives. Preservatives are the enemy...

No fruits? Eating fruit feels like cheating to me.

I am on the healthy, small meals per day diet as well. Every once in a while I eat a box of macroni and cheese as my cheat meal.

yup....morning and afternoon after work 2 days a week and then work out at home 2-3 days a week. The other two nights I have class so I can't do anything.

Weights and cardio.

Choppin' it up.
Sounds like a pretty good plan. Is that all you eat? Those 12 items?

I am currently in week 5 of P90X. Nothing fancy and really nothing to buy other than the workout DVD's, some bands and a couple sets of dumbells. Some wicked good workouts! I have lost alot of inches so far. I am about 220lbs and getting firmed up (been a long time since that happened) Eating great and feeling great.

Soon as the WB1 gets back from the paint shop, I'll be throwin' it around like nothin'.

You don't have to eat exactly from that list...there are other nuts, berries, etc. that you can eat.

Yes it has fat...but it is good fat and as long as you aren't sitting down to a tub of peanut butter you are fine! Portion control portion control portion control.

I have noticed I have more energy now than I have in a while. :Banane09: I never thought I would be able to get up at 4:15 to head to the gym. So far so good!

Google abs diet online.....they have an online program that is free for 30 days. I am just using it for 30 days and then canceling it. I am pulling recipes and exercises and stuff off of there.

My brother got the P90X program and I did the plyometrics workout with him and it kicked my butt. He told me a bit about the other workouts and he has been getting good results with it. I'll stick to my lifting routing but I'm gonna "borrow" that plyo dvd to use once a week or so and maybe even the yogax and kenpo to try some different stuff out.

p90x plyometrics works awesome for a leg/cardio workout, but if you want leg strength, the p90x legs and back is the perfect workout also. i started out doing like 3 or 4 pull ups when I began the program, now I am up to 16 the sixth week in. Good stuff
