Considering parting ways, not parting out, my blaster1200. I was building this ski for a gentleman in San Diego but he backed out earlier in the summer and the ski has just been sitting in my garage. The Blaster is a 1996 hull which IMO is the best looking, stock decals, and regestered. The boat is complete except needs a driveshaft and midshaft. I have a wb1 midshaft and a gp1200 coupler i just cant loosen them off of their shafts. I can sell with both of those midshafts so all you need is to switch couplers and buy a wb1 driveshaft. The motor is mostly stock except for carbon fiber reeds and riva reed spacer. I made a conversion kit which integrates the rear motor mount. It has the 155 pump with a concord 13/19 pitch impeller which i was told was good all around power. The motor is set up as straight exhaust because i never got around to putting in a raider701 waterbox. Now most will disagree with that waterbox because it makes the exhaust go from a 3" down to a 2 1/2 or 2" exit. This was talked about with a guy i buy parts from and helps me build skis, the reason for a more restrictive waterbox is too give more bottom end rather then rev up and have top end speed. Im a freestyle guy and was building the ski how i thought it should have been built for my customer who was newer to the sport. Anyways, not sure of a price so i will list out costs:
1997 Gp1200 low hours---$2500
new carbon fiber reeds--$125
Riva reed spacer--$85
1996 hull--$500
protec ride plate--$75
Riva racing extended exit Nozzle--$75
Concord impeller--$150
Total: $3,510

Thats around the money in the ski. Just seeing if anybody is interested. We can call the total amount my asking price because of the forum rules but i will take all offers. Possible trade for freestyle hull or a bigger motor for my superjet. IF a good deal gets thrown on the table i will put money on top on my end. I can also finish the ski if somebody was serious about a RTR blaster1200 im just not wanting to wrech right now and just go ride my SJ. Ill post up pictures a bit later

The guy who told you a more restrictive exhaust would give better bottom end is wrong. Its the other way around.

Anyway, you need to give us a ballpark number for what you want for it. Thats the only way to know if there's some interest for it.

BTW, the guy who backed out of that deal, was he from Lake Elsinore?

Wouldn't more flow give you more top speed (just Like nascar and dragracing). it makes since to what he said and he builds good skis himself. ill look into it more..as for price its listed in post#1. and not sure about the guy who looked at it. i think it was James but not sure
