Other A useless...topic?

I keep noticing when I am in the "Forums" main page that below my avatar it shows various stats but also shows "points". I could search it out but I'm lazy today and don't wanna lol. So what I am wondering...and I am sure this will seem ridiculous but hey, somebody needs to be a weirdo around here...so what I am wondering is since we have "point", does that mean when we respond in a clever fashion we made a "point"? If so, should there maybe be a "counter-point" counter as well?

Also, what the heck is this??? It's totally awful, but like a train wreck you just can't look away. And then I realized afterwards...I can't unwatch this lol. So now I have been going through life these last few days totally confused and unsure of everything. Did I just fall into the matrix or something? I kinda feel like I wanna puke a little.

There are number of posts and number of likes. If you see points, it's probably related to dkp, or "dragon kill points". Lots of gamers (Everquest, world of Warcraft) use dkp to distribute "loot". It's not relivent for us but lots of clans/guilds use forums like this and guild management would use that feature.

Otherwise it could be related to infractions for unaceptable behavior and enough infractions results in a forum ban.
