Guys,
I'm running a set of 46 Mikuni's on my 701 and have found that under idle the inner venturi seeming to be leaking fuel.
I have a popoff of around 20psi and have rebuilt the carbs completely from top to bottom including new needle and seats. I have a spare set of new needle and seats and I still have the same problem.
I keep wet fouling spark plugs, and I find if I have the plugs loose in the head the fuel slips past them and covers the head with unburnt fuel.
Is there anythinkg that would cause the venturi's to leak? It's really annoying me!
Other info...ported, 165psi comp, type 9.
Thanks.
