is the motor modified? Mags are typically heavy and can put extra load on the motor so if it is a relativly stock setup it may be like you are dragging a weight

are you talking about that one thats just the centre section
you will need to modify your old pump to get it in there
thats why it was cheap
but it shoudl go in there if you can find a good machinest

yes the engine is going to be pretty modded freestyle , it is away at the moment getting big bore sleaves fitted ,porting , case porting , girdle head and lots lots more so it chould be able to handle it all going well
'thanks for the help guys

wot do you think would be a good price for this . im going over to have a look at it tommorw night and he has told me to make him an offer i was thinking about 400 or would this be to much . it wont cost me a cent to get it fitted in my jet unit i can do all that at work for nothing so there wont be any cost there involved

I will know if a TBM pump cone will fit the 650 pump soon. I have one on the way. I think that would be a cheaper and lighter option for the X2. Nobody knows if it will fit but I am pretty sure it will.

Just the vein housing shouldnt be that much heavier (if at all ) then stock vein housing and TBM should it? Also, is this a 12 vein mag or what? And is the 300 in us or in you all currency.

it was an 6 vein houseing , not sure if it is skat one or who else makes them . i picked it up for 200 nz dollors so im quite happy . ill take some pics off it to show you guys tommorw . im going to run a big hub 13-18 skat swirl prob in it when i get it in (sxr 800 prop).

here is a couple pics off the magnum stator section that i ended up getting and on off the new prop that im going to run in it . im going to fit this into a pump outoff a 95 750sx

Looks good! I am debating on trying to glass in a 750 pump for my X2 this winter.

Pete, There are some slight differences in the 650 - 750 pumps. That TBM should bolt in but it may not fit right right behind the impeller, the pumps are different diameters there.
