'97 Sj vs '02 or newer

is there any difference in a '97 or a '03. hull wise, performance or anything?

I've noticed that the newer hulls are cracking alot more than the older ones

nope...same thing...although there has been mention that the 96/97 hulls are a little stronger...but that is probably debateable

so basically if i found a '97 and a '03 both stock in great shape it would be ok to save some cash and go with the '97 basically going to be the same boat.

YES...Save your money and get the 97 if they are in the same shape.
