Other 96 sts swapping a small pin in

hi guys,
I have a 96 750 sts with a blown big pin motor, i was wondering if i could put a small pin motor out of a 93 or 94 sxi and keep my electronics?

I have a 96 sts and did exactly what you are talking about. Easy swap and has more thrust now (I kept the big pin dual carbs on it too)
