'96 Blaster Question

Hey, does anyone have a '96 blaster?
What I need to know, is the hood rear air supply hose on a '96 model a different shape to clear the twin carbs compared to the single carb earlier models, which had a lot more space?
It's a different part number but looks the same in the pics.
I had to mod the earlier model hose to clear the flame arester on my twin 46mm carbs, it would be cool just to buy another model hose to do the same job.

Thanks!

They are very similar if not the same. I know at the very least they will bolt up to the same hole in the hood. I have one from both a 95 and 96 model that I can compare for you but I won't be able to do it for a day or two. If this is still unanswered at that time I will check it out and post up what I find.

Now get back to that blaster!!!

i do not think they are the same. i have dual 48's on my stock hull and the rear hose does not hit. there on the wide riva manifold and have the big k & n filters as well.

but personally i would be making my own air intakes.
on my carbon hoods we have a huge aluminum intake tube directly over the fuel tank.
plus we shove the intake up higher in the hood to keep water from entering to begin with.

Not sure what you'll have to go through over there to get the 96 version, but I'd be happy to donate mine to your cause if you pay for shipping. Shoot me a pm if you are interested.

And I can also post up pics of the difference between the two if that will be of any help...
